According to the International Aluminium Institute, the world primary aluminium output, including China, hit a new record at 125 500 tons/day in June 2012, up from 123 700 tons/day in may and up from 123 700 tons/day in June 2011.
On the same period, the world primary aluminum output, excluding China, was at 69 300 tons / day, down from 69 500 tons in May and down 3.2% from 71 600 tons in June 2011. China’s primary aluminium production average hit a new record at 56 100 tons/day in June 2012, up from 54 100 tons/day in May and up 7.7% from 52 100 tons/day in June 2011.
